Property Valuations

Valuation of a property is not an exact science, unfortunately. A property value is what people think it is worth.

Someone buying a property will most likely have a different opinion to the person selling or the bank that is going to lend the funds. All three will probably have a different opinion to the agent or even an independent qualified valuer.

So who is right?

They all are. They are all just opinions from different view points.

The most important thing that you as potential purchaser must do is research the market so that the opinion you come up with is based on what is happening in the market. After all, why pay more than you need to.
