Seaforth

Seaforth has a combination of natural beauty and large blocks of land. It is not rare to find a block of land 800sqm or above.

Many homes have been demolished and rebuilt over the last few years which has given the area a face lift. If this is what you are looking for, you could find a brand new home or a home that you could demolish and rebuild your dream home.

Seaforth is located on the north side of the troublesome spit bridge. This is one of the worst bridges as it can not handle the traffic from the Northern beaches. The Roads and Traffic Authority has been arguing about what to do for years and no reasonable solution is in sight.

The suburb is located 11 km north of the CBD.

In 2006, the statistics (RP Data) were as follows:

  • The median price for houses was $1,150 million
  • The median price for units was $800,000

Projected growth for 2007, according to Australian Property Monitors is:

  • Houses 4% to 7%
  • Units 4% to 7%

The best streets are:

  • Seaforth Cr
  • Edgecliffe Esp
  • Bligh Cr
