Kirribilli

Kirribilli was first established in the mid 1800s and is one of the most established suburbs in Sydney. The original architecture is still in existence with homes modernised on the inside.

There is a real mixture of homes and apartments. The area was built before the motor car and as such, most of the roads are narrow and parking is at a premium.

Kirribilli is a beautiful tree lined suburb that encourages an outdoor lifestyle. You have instant access to walk around the harbour and The North Sydney yacht club. If entertainment is your thing, you will need to explore the Ensemble theatre. The area has some fantastic restaurants including Milsons and Garfish.

If you are looking for a private school, the area has some of Sydney's most prestigious private schools, including St Aloysius College and Loreto Kirribilli. In North Sydney, there is Wenona, and Shore. All are difficult to get in to so if you think this might be an area to move to, it is worth placing your child’s name on the waiting lists as soon as possible.

Kirribilli is located 5km north of the CBD. Transport to the CBD includes train and bus and Ferry. For the fit, you could walk to work.
